A child’s play is their reality."

Hello! I'm Your Play Therapist
I’m here to help you when you’re feeling worried, sad, angry, or confused. Sometimes, things
happen that are hard to understand, and these big feelings can make life tough. You might
find it difficult to enjoy time with friends, concentrate at school, or feel happy. I’m here to
help you work through those feelings in a way that feels safe and comfortable for you.
What Is Play Therapy?
Play therapy is a time just for you. Instead of just talking about feelings, we use play, art, and
creative activities to help you express what’s on your mind. You don’t have to explain
everything with words—your play can help me understand what you’re feeling.
What Will Happen In Our Sessions?
- We will meet at the same place and time every week, so you always know what to expect.
- You can choose what you want to do—whether it’s playing with toys, using puppets, painting, drawing, or even playing with sand and water.
- I will be there with you, following your lead and helping you in a way that feels right for you.
Is Everything We Do Private?
Yes! What happens in our sessions stays between us. The only time I might need to tell
another adult is if I’m worried about your safety. If that ever happens, I will always explain to
you what I need to share and why.
How Can This Help You?
Play therapy helps you:
- Understand and express your feelings
- Feel less worried or upset
- Find ways to handle big emotions
- Feel more confident and happier

I'm Here for You
If you’re feeling unsure about anything, that’s okay! I’m here to help, and together we can
work through whatever is on your mind. You’re not alone, and this is a safe space just for
you.
