Hello! I'm Your Creative Arts Therapist
I’m here to help you when you’re feeling worried, sad, angry, or confused. Sometimes, things happen that are hard to understand, and these big feelings can make life tough. You might find it difficult to enjoy time with friends, concentrate at school, or to feel happy. I’m here to help you work through those feelings in a way that feels safe and comfortable for you.
What Is Creative Arts Therapy?
Creative arts therapy is a time just for you. Sometimes it can be hard to talk about what we feel. That’s why we can use creative activities to help you express what’s on your mind. You don’t have to explain everything with words—the activities you choose help me understand what you’re feeling.
What Will Happen In Our Sessions?
- We will meet at the same place and time every week, so you always know what to expect.
- You can choose what you want to do—whether it’s drawing, painting, playing cards, using sand or even just talking.
- I will be there with you, following your lead and helping you in a way that feels right for you.
Is Everything We Do Private?
How Can This Help You?
Creative Arts Therapy helps you:
- Understand and express your feelings
- Feel less worried or upset
- Find ways to handle big emotions
- Feel more confident and happier
