FAQs

How do you protect my child’s data?
I take your child’s privacy very seriously. All personal data is stored securely and only used for the purpose of providing therapy services. Your child’s information is kept confidential, and I comply with data protection regulations, ensuring that no personal details are shared without your consent, unless required by law.
If I have concerns about your child’s safety or well-being, I am required to follow safeguarding procedures. This may involve sharing information with relevant authorities, such as social services, to ensure your child’s safety. I will always inform you if a disclosure is necessary unless doing so would place your child at further risk.
Yes, I carry out a risk assessment at the start of therapy to ensure that the environment is safe for your child and that any potential risks are identified and managed appropriately. This is done to protect both your child and myself during our sessions.
When working one-on-one with children, I follow a lone working policy. These policies ensure that I conduct therapy in a safe, professional environment. Sessions are conducted in a secure setting, and I make sure to adhere to best practice standards for safety
